Answer: this is the Photosysnthesis equation

6CO2 + 6H20 + (energy) → C6H12O6 + 6O2 Carbon dioxide + water + energy from light produces glucose and oxygen

Explanation: The carbon dioxide from the air and the water from the soil goes the leaf through the xylem. In the leaf is were the food of the plant is made. Using the sunlight and the chlorophyll ( green pigment ) they get glucose and give out oxygen. Glucose ( sugar ) is the food made by the plant. This oxygen helps us to breath.

✯The mechanism of photosynthesis is an oxidation - reduction reaction. In this process light energy is trapped by chloroplasts and the atmospheric carbon dioxide is fixed as carbon source and undergo many cycles called kerbs cycle and produce sugars as end products along with evolution of oxygen.Photosynthesis is usually represented by theequation 6 CO2 + 6 H2O + light --> C6H12O6 + 6 O2.
