Answer:

A soap molecule is called as a micelle.

Soap is the Sodium and Potassium salts of Long chain Carboxylic acids

When this happens, there is a large gap between the Anion and The Cation.

This causes 2 parts of a molecule. One end is a Hydro phobic end  And another one is a Hydrophilic end

Dirt is usually a greasy material. when Soap is applied on to the dirt, the molecule's Hydro phobic end latch onto the dirt molecule.

When we apply Water onto the dirt and soap, the Hydro Philic end is attracted to the water and the grease is carried to along with the water and is washed away.
