Pitcher plant is an insectivorous plant, which is mainly found in dump areas , in lack of nutrients , feed on other insects. insects get attracted to its beautiful leafy structure present at the top and afterwards it sink inside the flower and the flower contains the liquid which make insect unable to move and the surrounding is covered with small hairs which are slippery , by which insect cant` come out . Hence , the insect get dead and decompose inside and nutrients are absorbed by the plant.
