U can get this through the example of alcohol and water.As u know that alcohol has low boiling point as compared to water,it means it will quickly convert in vapour form as compared to water.
As alcohol will first change into vapour form so we can separate it out by condensing the vapours of alcohol being converted on heating.
And next we will notice as soon as the temperature would be rising, that only water is left behind.
And this is called fraction distillation,which entirely depends upon temperature difference of the substance mixed and to be separated.
