Oxygen can be looked upon as a waste product of photosynthesis and carbon dioxide a waste product of respiration; water is a waste product of both. Water will be lost through transpiration. Some of the methods of excretion are as follows: Gums, resins, rubber and latex are exuded from various parts of the plant body.

Answer:

Excretion in plants : plants do not posses special organs for excretion . The waste products are also quite different :

1) Excess of O2 produced during day time in the process of photosynthesis is of little use of the plant . So it is released into the atmosphere through stomata .

2) During night CO2 is a waste product and is released through stomata .

3) Excess of water is also released through through stomata.

4) the leaves may accumulate some waste product and fall off.

5) The waste products stored in xylem are resins and gums
