mining is one of the process for mineral extraction it takes the minerals that are buried underground for many years miners dig and dig to extract the mineral. There are two main types of mining one is surface mining and the other is subsurface mining.

2.There are several ways in which minerals can be extracted, but the two main methods are called surface mining and subsurface mining.
3.Surface mining-Minerals are extracted that are near the earth suface.The methods used are open-pit mining and strip mining etc.
4.Sub surface mining-Some minerals are found deep inside the earth.To extract them subsurface mining is done.The method used are blast mining,longwall mining and solution mining etc.
