Answer:

1. Rubber cultivation in plantation is a systematic agriculture in which first seeds have been raised in a nursery. When the rubber seedlings are about 5 cm in diameter buds from high yielding clones are grafted on to the seedlings. This grafted section forms the main part of the tree.

2.  A tapper taps 500 trees in about 3-3 ½ hours has a break and then collects the latex after 4-5 hours after tapping. Latex vessels run down from right to left and tapping is down from left to right to maximise production which is usually about ½ cup of latex which is 30-35% rubber and the rest is water

3.  Rubber tapping is the process by which latex is collected from a rubber tree. The latex is harvested by slicing a groove into the bark of the tree at a depth of a quarter inch with a hooked knife and peeling back the bark.

4.   In grafting, the upper part (scion) of one plant grows on the root system (rootstock) of another plant. In the budding process, a bud is taken from one plant and grown on another.

hope it helps........
