First of all we will use filteration in which rice grain with sand will be filtered out and remaining water, salt will be filterate after that we can use handpicking for saperating sand and rice grain on the other hand evaporation to saperate out salt and water.
so the processes used are filteration, evapotation and hand picking.

The mixture is allowed to stand for some time so that sand and rice grains
settle down. Salt remains dissolved in water as it is soluble in it .The liquid is
decanted out or filtered and the residue containing sand and rice is dried .The dry mixture of sand and rice grains is sieved to separate them rice having bigger sized grains remains on the sieve whereas sand falls down. The filtrate is distilled to get water and salt remains as residue in the flask.
