Simply Draw any triangle and take Mid points any two side of the same triangle ( Draw perpendicular bisector of any two sides to get mid point or measure it by using Scale or ruler )

Now Draw a line segment joinsor connects the two mid points....Once you done...

You will find two observation....

Obs.1 -> The length of the line segment which connects the two mid points will be Half the length of Third side of the triangle...

Obs.2 -> line segment joining the mid points will be parallel to the third side..

You can try this with any traingle...

According to Mid point theorem...If you draw any line passing through the mid points of any two sides of a triangle...then the line segment joining the mid points must be parallel to third side and half the third side...
