Sowing is the technique of planting the seed into the soil.Sowing should be done in proper way so tgat the plants grow well.Sowing should be done in such a way that there is enough space between the saplings so that the plants get proper sunlight and water and minerals from the ground.

During the previous times the farmers used to plants seeds manually.This created a problem for them as the plants did not get proper space to grow and many crops failed .

But today many implements like SEED DRILL is used to sow the seed.
It is a implement in which the soil is ploughed and the seeds are sowed at a same time and at a proper place.
