Solid, liquids and gases differ from each other due to their arrangement of molecules in solids the molecules are packed tightly therefore it has definite shape and volume,in liquid its loosely packed therefore it has a fixed shape but no fix volume while in gases they are freely pack due to which they neither have definite shape nor volume
