Explain the motion of swimmer with help of Newton's third law of motion

Newton’s third law states that every action has equal and opposite reaction. Similarly in case of swimmer, the action is pushing water back with hands and legs and reaction is swimmer swimming forward. Thus this is an application of Newton’s third. Law

Answer: When a person swims, he pushes the water in the backward direction (action force) with his hands and feet. According to the Newton's third law, the water pushes the person in the forward direction (reaction force) with an equal and opposite force.
