(a) A public meeting was organized at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar on 13th April, 1919 to protest against the Rowlatt Act.

(b) General Dyer ordered the military to open fire on the unarmed Indians who had gathered for the meeting.

(c) Hundreds of innocent people were killed and many others were injured.

Therefore this incident was condemned as the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

on account of annul baisakhi fair some people y gathed to celebrate festival and some was to protest agaist government new repressive measures. many villagers were unaware of matial low that had been imposed. General dyre entered into the bagh and close exist path and ordered his army to fire .Many innocent were killed
