Birds are adapted to moving in the air. Their front limbs have turned into wings and their strong pectoral muscles move their feathered wings.

To & fro movement occur in birds. they move their wing up & down and again & again which is called to & fro movement.

Bird also move their other body parts muscle to fly & for some other activities.

Bird bones are hollow inside so that the bodyweight is as small as possible, which makes it easier for them to fly.
