Social divisions like gender division,casteism,racial, religious,language based discrimination can hinder the social,economic and cultural progress of a nation.
For eg: The civil war in Sri Lanka is the cause Sri Lanka stays behind among many countries of the world in various fields.
India still faces divisions based on castes and religion which is why it cannot still turn into a fully developed nation
