Amoeba ingests the food by encircling it by forming pseudopodia. when the food is completely encircled, the food is engulfed in the form of a bag called food vacuole.

In amoeba nutrition process take place in following way:-
i. There is false foot also known as pseudopodia present in amobea.
ii. It makes finger like projection around its food.
iii.Then the food enters in the amoeba the vacuole distribute food all our the body.
iv.Then the unwanted food is excreted out from the amoeba.
