Ohm's law says that in an electrical circuit, the current passing through a resistor between two points, is related to the voltage difference between the two points, and inversely related to the electrical resistance between the two points.

According to Ohm's law,

Current flowing in a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference applied across to its ends at constant temperature & physical conditions.

So, According to the definition

V ∝ I

V/I = constant

Put the constant as “r” which indicates the resistance of the conductor.

R = V/I

V = IR

Where

I = current flowing in the conductor

V = potential difference applied across the conductor

R = resistance of the conductor

Unit of Resistance is called omega (Ω)
