The organization of french society was divided into 3 classes in the late 18 century.
1st class : 1st class is clergy. This class consists of priests. They enjoyed privilleges by birth. They didn't have to pay any taxes.
2nd class : this class included nobility. This class was similar to first class. They also enjoyed the priveliges By birth. They also didn't payed any taxes.
3rd class : it consists of merchants, traders, normal people etc. They consisted 73 % of population they had to pay all the taxes. They we're not given any priveleges.
