the supreme Court of India is recognized as the most powerful court
it is the first court to settle disputes between two states or a state and government or between two or more states in one side against the government .the supreme Court will first give it's judgement regarding such cases .this is known as original jurisdiction of the supreme Court

original jurisdiction means that the disputes which are supposed to be determined at the first instance i.e, the disputes which can't be moved to any other courts except the supreme Court.
Cases relating to disputes between the govt of India and two or more states, disputes between states, interpretation of the Constitution,protection of fundamental rights,etc.
