Explain the parts of a gold leaf electroscope

Explanation:

a metal disc is connected to a narrow metal plate of a gold leaf is fixed to the plate. the whole of this part of electroscope is insulated from body of instrument. a glass front prevents air draughts but allows you to watch behavior of leaf
