There are three pathways = presence of oxygen, absence of oxygen and lack of oxygen.
In which glucose is converted into carbon dioxide, water and energy
In second, it's yeast and energy
In third, it's lactic acid and energy.

Hope it helps u dear :)

hi

here's your answer

_______

After conversion of glucose into pyruvate , energy can be released by any of the 3 pathways .

1. by aerobic respiration - Pyruvate is oxidized in the presence of enough oxygen to release water, carbon dioxide and energy in the form of 38 ATPs. This process is conducted in mitochondria.

__________

2.by anaerobic respiration - energy is released in the presence of less amount of oxygen then required. The end products are 2ATPs and lactic acid.

_________

3.fermentation-This pathway is followed by yeast to respire. Energy is released in the absence of oxygen. The end products are energy, carbon dioxide and water.
