sexual complexities are since Viruses are non-cellular organisms they can replicate themselves,Bacteria is unicellular organisms they can reproduce by fission,they can sexually reproduce,also in unfavourable conditions they can produce spores,Algae comes under kingdom plantae therefore is multicellular and can reproduce vegetatively, asexually and sexually...Fungi also can reproduce by vegetative means like fragmentation,fissions and budding And also by sexual and asexual means like spores germinations.....BRYOPHYTES are multicellular and have different sex organs.... Pteridophytes reproduce by spores germinations ...... Gymnosperms have developed sex organs like cone is female sex organ and pollen is male sex organ.

And the thing is from viruses to multicellular gymnosperm there are various evolution in their reproductive organs like from getting fission to development of proper sex organs.
