Bm means accumulation of toxic material in the body of an organism.. So if the lower tropic level organism is eaten by higher tropic level organism thwn these toxic material are transfered.
Lets assume a small fish has 1 g of mercury in its body.. If this fish is eaten by another higher level of organism ( even humans), then this toxic wasted is transferd to them, and u can assume how many fish are eaten by big fish( shark) daily.. So u can calculate the accumulation of the mercury in shark or human in their entire life.
