✔️When the starlight enters inside the earth's atmosphere undergoes continous refraction
before it reaches, the earth's atmospheric refraction occur in the medium of gradually changing refractive index.
✔️Also, the earths atmosphere bends the starlight towards normal so the apparent position of the star is slightly above form its actual position.
