Explain the physical, chemical and biological factors which lead to the formation of soil.

Explanation:

  • The soils are formed by the interaction of the five major factors. The physical factors that affects the soil formation are parent rocks and the climate and the nature of the soil types and the various a type of soil like the glacial till and the alluvial deposits and beaches all are formed by the various physiologic elements that act on the soil, topography, and reliefs also plays a major along the elevation of the soil.
  • The chemical factors that can be seen on the soil profile with the distinguishing characteristic of the soil formations such as the O horizon that contains the humus and the A horizon have humidified organic matter. Some soil is acidic due to the contents of the heavy metal and the color of the soil also differs due to the same.  
  • The biological facts that include the plants, animals and the microorganism and the native vegetation that is dependent on the soil and temperature and moisture and the leaf matters that deposits on the soil are the factor that led to the formation of soil.
