Answer:

the physical properties of metal are :

1) they are lustrous (shiny )example, gold , silver

2) they are good conductors of heat and electricity . example copper , (gallium is a bad conducter of electricity )

3) have high melting point . example Tungsten

4) density is high , example platinum, neptunium

5) they are ductile and malleable. example copper

Physical properties of Metals:-

# Metals are Electropositive (donate the electrons).

# Metals are Malleability (can be beaten into thin sheets).

Example:- Silver metal is beaten into thin sheets and is applied on the sweets.

# Metals are Ductility (can be drawn into thin wires).

Example:- Gold and Platinum can be drawn into thin wires.

# Metals are good conductor of electricity.

Example:- Silver and Copper are used as electrical wires in our homes.

# Metals are generally hard in nature (except Sodium, Potassium, Lithium).

Example:- Iron is very hard. But Sodium, Potassium and Lithium are not so hard in nature because of it's more reactivity.

# Metals have high melting point and boiling point (except Gallium and Caesium).

Example:- Tungsten have high melting point and boiling point. Gallium and Caesium having low melting point and boiling point.

# Metals are solid at room temperature (except Mercury).

Example:- Sodium, Potassium are solid at room temperature but Mercury is liquid at room temperature.

# Metals are good conductor of Heat.

Example:- Copper and Aluminum.
