Max planck in 1900 proposed the theory of radiant energy. Following are its assumption
1. Absorption nd emissions of radiant energy by object is dis continuous.
2. Energy is absorbed or emitted by an object in the form of discrete bundles of energy.
3. Each packet of energy is called quanta. Qunta of light energy called photon.
4. Energy of one quanta equal to
E/ quanta= hv = hc/ lambda

Where h is planck constant. V is frequency of radiation. C is speed of light. Lambda is wavelength of radiation

I hope it helps you

Answer:

Plank Quantum theory is described as the smallest amount of energy that can be emitted or absorbed in the form of electromagnetic radiation is known as quantum. The energy of the radiation absorbed or emitted is directly proportional to the frequency of the radiation.
