Explanation:

The polity of the Early Vedic period was basically a tribal polity with the tribal chief in the centre. The tribe was called Jana and the tribal chief was called Rajana. Answer:

people lived in tribes known as Jana .each Jana had its own ruling chief or king who was generally a hereditary successor . The people were allowed to change the king if he was cruel .. The main source of revenue were taxes . ministers like commander in chief and  the priests were there to assist the king . people lived a peaceful life.  two councils  were chosen members from the people to help the king. They are the Sabha and the Samiti. They had great importance as they exercised control because they could pass resolution to remove any incapable king.  Aryans fought while riding on horses and the soldiers fought on foot. Their weapons were arrows , spears and axes. They were all noble . They never attacked anyone unnecessarily . The early Vedic administration was tribal .So there could be no stable government .
