Two types of valves are present in heart:-

(1) Bicuspid valve(mitral valve) : It guards the opening between left atrium and left ventricle .

(2) Tricuspid valve: It guards the opening between right atrium and the right ventricle.

The opening of right and left ventricle into the pulmonary artery and the aorta respectively are provided with semolunar valves.

The opening of right and left ventricle into the pulmonary artery and the aorta respectively are provided with semolunar valves.VALVE:- These valves prevent any backward flow .
