Religion in politics teaches us that India is a vast and diverse country with,many religions and cultures and our constitution teaches us to respect the values of each religion but politicians today use religion a means to gain votes. As the people in India are emotionally related to religion and the democracy favours majority and religion with majority in India is Hinduism. Our politicians make the majority happy knowing they will vote them by not listening to the religions with minority.
