Post  pollination events can be defined as a series of of events which takes place after the fusion of the male and female gamates.

Explanation:

  • during pollination the pollen grains come in contact with the stigma and the male gamut settles down and fuses with the egg.
  • Then double fertilization and triple fusion takes place. this is a special type of fertilization which occurs for the angiospermic groups of plants. The the ovary of the plant is converted into the fruit.
  • The the ovule is converted into the seeds. The seed coat is formed by the  walls of the ovule of the flower.
