Various natural substances are placed inside a special container, the fermentor.
• Manure
• Sewage
• Poultry manure
• Dairy whey
• Vegetable waste
• Vegetable waste
•Agricultural by-products

Crops such as corn silo, wheat, sorghum, grain, combined with sewage and manure, are excellent raw materials. Food industry scraps can also be used.

In the fermentor, in the absence of oxygen and in a temperature-controlled environment, a great number of bacteria decompose the organic matter. The result of this decomposition is triple: biogas, heat, and digestate (natural liquid fertilizer).

- Biogas is converted into electricity thanks to a co-generator, and transferred to the national network. One part is converted into subsequent heat.

- Heat, as well as for the fermentation process itself, is used for heating some of the farm premises, such as stables and offices (or even for an industrial process).

- Digestate is used as a natural fertilizer on farm crops, with a quality far superior to that of manure.
