the procedure of law making in India is :-

the Parliament has an important role in making new laws and changing their existing one . a proposal to pass a new law change an existing one is called a bill. abhi introduced by Prime Minister is called a government bill while the bill introduced by any private members of the parliament is called a private member bill.

depending on the subject matter of a bill, it can be of two types :- a money bill or an ordinary bill. Bills that deals with government income or expenditure are called money bills. Other place that deals with the day to day life of people are called ordinary bills. I will became a lovely after going through the following stages :-

  • first reading or introduction
  • second reading
  • third reading
  • bill in the second house
  • president's consent
  • passing of a money bill
  • accountability of the government.
