Every person who wishes to contest election has to fill the nomination from and deposit some money as security deposit.
candidates are also required to make a legal declaration and provide the following details:
1.serious criminal cases pending against the candidates
2.details of assets and liabilities of the candidate and his or her family
3.education qualification on the candidate
