law of conservation of mass state that mass and energy can never be produced or destroyed during any reaction.
as if we add barium chloride in aluminium sulphate the reaction take place but rhe no of electron does not change in the formation of barium sulphate and aluminium chloride. so the mass is not destroyed or produced in it but its relative quantity is changed
