When you issue a cheque to a third party, the payee has to present the cheque in the bank and get the money from the teller.
If the cheque is a bearer cheque , the banker will pay without looking for any endorsement on the back of the cheque. If it is an order cheque, then he will see whether the transferor has put his endorsement before transferring the cheque to this transferee. DR. M.J. SUBRAMANYAM

firstly fill the date this is called date of issue.write the day ,month and year in figures.
Then write a name of the company or payee you want to pay the cheque.
The amount we order to pay is written in both words and figures.
