Answer:
Aerobic respiration is a process where large amount of energy is released from the breakdown of food substances.
Glucose-----→Pyruvate+Energy-----→6 water+carbon dioxide+38 ATP
Anaerobic respiration is a process where small amount of energy is released from the breakdown of food substances.
It is of two types:
1.Alcoholic Fermentation:The incomplete breakdown of sugar into ethanol and carbon dioxide to release energy is called Alcoholic Fermentation.Eg-In Yeast
Glucose-----→Pyruvate+Energy-----→2Ethanol+2 Carbon Dioxide+2ATP
2.Lactic Acid Fermentation:The incomplete breakdown of sugar into lactic acid and energy is called Lactic Acid Fermentation.Eg-In muscle Cells
Glucose----→Pyruvate+Energy--------→2Lactic Acid+2ATP.
