Subjects in School & Eligibility
Opt for Physics, Chemitry and Biology in 10+ 2.
You should be at least 17, and not more than 25 at the time of the application, if applying through the General Category.
Graduation
MBBS is the basic degree required to enter the field of Medicine. It is a 5 and a half year degree which includes one year of compulsory internship.
Entrance Exams: NEET is the most important entrance if you wish to pursue MBBS, BDS and Veterinary Science. For other specializations such as Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, etc. there are specialized courses at graduation itself.
JIPMER and AIIMS conduct their own entrance exam.

About NEET
NEET (previously termed as AIPMT) is conducted by CBSE every year for all private and government colleges. This year it will be on 6th May(Offline Mode).

There are 180 objective type questions (90 in Biology, 45 in Physics, 45 in Chemistry). 4 marks are given for each correct answer, and one is deducted for each wrong answer.

MD VS MS
