Binary fission in Amoeba

Explanation:

Amoeba is a prokaryotic organism where reproduction is done by binary fission, a process where genetic material is transformed into daughter cell by separating it's body to give rise of 2 new bodies.

The genetic material is transformed into the daughter cell by the process of division and each daughter cell contain one copy of DNA.

This type of reproduction is the primary method of asexual reproduction in prokaryotic body.

Asexual reproduction in amoeba takes place by this process where mitotic division occur and the producing two daughter cells that  will be of equal size and will contain nuclei received from mother. This process is called as karyokinesis.
