When we get injured there is a puncture in the skin due to which flow of blood occurs.
There are thrombocytes present in the blood tissue which clump on the injury and form a layer of platlets which do not let the blood flow. This coagulation help in stopping flow of blood.
When the injury is cured then the layer of platelets dissolves.
