• Cell division occurs by either of the two processes, that is mitosis or meiosis (not in the case of somatic cells).

• Cleavage as per embryology means the repeated divisions of cells of Zygote in the embryo to form a ball of cells called Morula.

• Morula further repetitively divided through mitosis to form a "hollow ball of cells" called Blastula.
