Explain the process of conduction with the help of an activity?
Answers
this is conduction which takes place in the solids.
Answer:
Conduction is a process by which heat is transmitted through microscopic collisions of particles. This occurs in solids where the particles are more close together. To demonstrate this, take two metal blocks of same size & shape and heat one of them to a considerable temperature, then allow both the blocks to touch each other, after a while you will see the other block gets heated due to contact.
Some extra information of this concept related-
1.Conduction: You pass the book on to the next bench and it continues till the book is reached to the last bench
2.Convection: You directly go to the last bench and give the book or the student comes to you to collect.
3. Radiation: You throw the book from first bench to the last. Now you relate these with the original definitions, you will find them easy to understand. That"s how I learnt.
