1) When the food is entered into the mouth. we chew the food through salivary gland.

2) food reaches the oesophagus.

3) through oesophagus the food reaches the stomach.

4) In the stomach several juices and enzymes are released which help in further breakdown of complex food substances.

5) then the food reaches the small intestine when assimilation takes place.

6) then the assimilated food reaches the large intestine where in salts and water are absorbed.

7) then the waste is stored in rectum.

8) then the waste is thrown out by anus in the form of utine and faeces at regular intervals.
