the partially digested food from the stomach enters the duodenum of small intestine in a semi-solid state called chyme. The small intestine in a human is the site of complete digestion of food like carbohydrates, protein, and fats. It receives secretion of liver and pancreas for the purpose. Digestive juice from liver (bile) and from pancreas(pancreatic juice) and digestive juices of intestinal glands act simultaneously in the lumen of the small intestine.

Heya user..!!

Here is ur answer...!!

_________________________________________________________________

Process of digestion in small intestine :

  • In  the first part of the small intestine the secretion of the liver called bile and the pancreatic juices are  received .The bile salts break down the larger globules of fat into smaller globules. This is called emulsification. The bile also make the food alkaline so that the pancreatic enzymes can act. The pancreatic enzymes contains trypsin for digesting proteins and lipase for digesting fats. The walls of the small intestine secrete intestinal juices which finally digests the food as follow :

  • PROTEINS ⇒ AMINO ACIDS

  • FATS ⇒ FATTY ACID'S AND GLYCEROL.

  • CARBOHYDRATES ⇒ GLUCOSE
