After the pollen grain lands on a suitable stigma, it has to reach the female germ cells which are in the ovary.

After fertilisation, the zygote divides several times to form an embryo within the ovule.

The ovule develops a tough coat and is gradually converts into seed.

The ovary grows rapidly and ripens to form a fruit.

Hope it helps..!!

When pollen lands on stigma, it germinates and gives rise to a new pollen tube that passes through the style and reaches the ovary of a pistil. When the pollen tube reaches to an ovule, it releases the male gametes. A male gamete fuses with a female gamete in the ovule. This process is known as fertilization. Plant fertilization is the joining of male and female gametes, resulting in a zygote. The most generalized form of this process requires four steps: pollination, germination, penetration of ovule and fertilization. After fertilization the zygote divides to form an embryo.
