plant fertilization is the joining of male and female gametes, resulting in a zygote. firstly the pollen grain comes in contact with the pistil. then the stigma realses a sugary and watery substances which indicates the pollen grain to form a pollen tube. then the Male gamete enters the embryo sac from the one of the synergid which is disintegrated. In embryo sac the Male gamete fertilizes with an egg cell and form an embryo.
