on reaching the stigma pollen grain germinate carrying two male gamets in pollen tube.

the second male gamete fuses with secondary nucleus and result in formation of primary endosperm nucleus. this is known as double fertilization.

after fertilization the ovary develops and converts into a seed containing embryo. embryo is the future plant and when it is provided with suitable condition like water air and optimum temperature it develops into a seedling
