The process of fusion of male gamete with the female gamete in the female gametophyte is called fertilisation. After pollination the second stage in the reproduction of plants is fertilisation. After the pollen grain lands on the stigma of the carpel, it extends a pollen tube which travels from the style to the ovary. One pollen grain releases 2 or more male gametes one of them which fuses with the egg cell in the female gametophyte and forms a zygote. This process is called fertilisation

Answer:
Each Pollen Grain contains a vegetative cell and two male gametes.
Once a Pollen Grain reaches the stigma, the vegetative cell produces a long tube called the Pollen tube.
The Pollen tube, which carries the male gametes, pushes its way down through the style and into the ovule through the micropyle.
One male gamete fuses with the egg cell in the ovule, Giving rise to the zygote.
This is called fertilization.
The Other male gamete fuses with other cells within the ovule to form the food store of the seed.
