Process of formation of petroleum:

  • The petroleum is one of the type of fossil fuel, this is formed and it is a non-renewable resources.
  • Petroleum is formed by the remains of large dead organisms. This is obtained by the oil drilling adventure.
  • Due to the change in the temperature and the pressure on the fossil fuels which is the remains of the dead organisms, causing the molten matter on solidification thereby the petroleum can be drilled from the silt of rock which is formed.

In word we can say:

petroleum is formed from the organisms living in the sea.as the organisms died, their bodies get settled at the bottom of the sea and get covered with layer of sand and clay. over million of years absence of air, high temperature and high pressure transformed the dead organisms into petroleum and natural gas.

Hope This Helped!!!!
