Harvesting is the process of gathering a ripe crop from the fields. Reaping is the cutting of grain or pulse for harvest, typically using a scythe, sickle, or reaper. The term "harvesting" in general usage may include immediate postharvest handling, including cleaning, sorting, packing, and cooling.

Heyy dear♥️

Harvesting is the process of collecting the mature rice crop from the field. It is important to apply good harvesting methods to be able to maximize grain yield, and minimize grain damage and quality deterioration.

It includes cutting the mature panicles and straw above ground. Separating the paddy grain from the rest of cut crop. Removing immature, unfilled, non-grain materials. Moving the cut crop to the threshing location. Putting the threshed grain in bags for transport and storage.

Thank you :)
